Millionaire
A pre-Prohibition rye sour, pink and rich. Rye, orange curaçao, lemon, grenadine, and egg white, with a few dashes of absinthe.

- 2 oz Rye WhiskeyMore Rye Whiskey cocktails
- ¾ oz Orange Curaçao
- ½ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- ½ oz Grenadine
- 1 whole Egg White
- 4 dash AbsintheMore Absinthe cocktails
Garnish: Grated nutmeg (Difford's) or none
How to make it
- Add the rye, curaçao, lemon juice, grenadine, egg white, and absinthe to a shaker and dry shake without ice.
- Add ice and shake hard until well chilled.
- Double strain into a chilled coupe.
- Garnish with a little grated nutmeg, or leave it plain.
