  • 2 oz Dark Rum, or brandy, applejack, bourbon or ryeMore Dark Rum cocktails
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters
  • 5 oz Apple Cider, fresh-pressed; hard cider historically

Garnish: Mint sprig, lemon peel or nutmeg

How to make it

  1. Fill a rocks glass with ice and add the rum and bitters.
  2. Top with the apple cider and stir gently.
  3. Garnish with a mint sprig, lemon peel, or grated nutmeg.
