A New Orleans classic. Rye and sweet vermouth stirred with Bénédictine, Peychaud's, and a wash of absinthe.

  • ¾ oz Rye Whiskey
  • ¾ oz Sweet Vermouth
  • ¾ oz Benedictine
  • 3 dash Absinthe
  • 3 dash Peychaud's Bitters

Garnish: Brandied cherry

How to make it

  1. Stir all ingredients with ice until well chilled.
  2. Strain into a chilled glass.
  3. Garnish with a cherry.
