Whiskey Rickey
The original Rickey, made at Shoomaker's in Washington D.C. in 1883 for Col. Joe Rickey. Bourbon, lime, and soda, no sugar.

- 2 oz BourbonMore Bourbon cocktails
- ½ oz Fresh Lime Juice, juice of half a lime; drop the shell in
- Soda Water
Garnish: Spent lime half
How to make it
- Fill a highball glass with ice and add the bourbon.
- Squeeze in the juice of half a lime and drop the spent shell into the glass.
- Top with soda water and stir briefly.
