Lava Flow

A Hawaiian take on the Piña Colada. Strawberries and rum swirl up through a frozen blend of pineapple and coconut.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz White RumMore White Rum cocktails
  • 1 oz Coconut Liqueur, coconut rum such as Malibu
  • 4 whole Strawberry, frozen, blended with the rums first
  • 2 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 2 oz Coconut Cream, sweetened cream of coconut

Garnish: Pineapple wedge

How to make it

  1. Blend the strawberries with the white rum and coconut rum until smooth, then pour into a hurricane glass.
  2. Rinse the blender and blend the pineapple juice and cream of coconut with ice until thick.
  3. Pour the colada slowly over the strawberry so the red rises up the sides.
  4. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.
