Spain's summer red, said to come from Córdoba. Young red wine and lemon soda in equal parts over ice.

Ingredients

  • 4 oz Red Wine, young, fruity, low-tannin (Tempranillo, Garnacha)
  • 4 oz Sparkling Lemonade, La Casera-style lemon soda; Sprite or 7UP substitutes

Garnish: Lemon wheel

How to make it

  1. Fill a wine glass with ice.
  2. Add the red wine, then top with the lemon soda.
  3. Stir gently and garnish with a lemon wheel.
