Donn Beach's spiced rum sour from the 1930s. Aged rum, orange and lime, cinnamon and vanilla syrups, allspice dram, and bitters.

  • 2 oz Aged Rum, light goldMore Aged Rum cocktails
  • ½ oz Fresh Orange Juice
  • ½ oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • ½ oz Cinnamon Syrup
  • ¼ oz Vanilla Syrup
  • ¼ oz Allspice Dram
  • 1 dash Angostura Bitters

Garnish: Long orange peel

How to make it

  1. Add the rum, orange juice, lime juice, cinnamon syrup, vanilla syrup, allspice dram, and Angostura to a blender with a scoop of crushed ice.
  2. Flash blend for a few seconds.
  3. Pour into a collins glass, topping with more crushed ice if needed.
  4. Garnish with a long orange peel.
