Ingredients

  • 2 oz Blended Scotch
  • 2 oz Hot Water, boiling
  • 1 tsp Sugar

Garnish: Lemon twist

How to make it

  1. Traditionally, the Scotch and boiling water are lit and poured back and forth between two metal mugs in a long arc, then sweetened.
  2. At home, skip the flame and stir it hot: dissolve the sugar in the boiling water in a warmed snifter or mug.
  3. Add the Scotch and stir.
  4. Garnish with a lemon twist.
