Jeff Berry's own modern tiki classic from Grog Log. Two rums, lime, grapefruit, and allspice dram.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Demerara Rum, aged, e.g. El Dorado 8
  • 1 oz Jamaican Rum, darkMore Jamaican Rum cocktails
  • ¾ oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • ½ oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice, white grapefruit
  • ½ oz Simple Syrup
  • ¼ oz Allspice Dram

Garnish: Mint sprig, lime wedge

How to make it

  1. Shake both rums, the lime juice, grapefruit juice, simple syrup, and allspice dram with ice.
  2. Pour into a double rocks glass filled with crushed ice.
  3. Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime wedge.
